Central Christian Church of Weatherford, Texas, already had a website, but wanted something more interactive and flexible. Due to the large amount of information they have to share - site organization is key. Their site features: a prayer center where visitors may enter prayers, an event calendar capable of repeating events, a music and video section, multiple blogs, a discussion forum directly linked to the comments made on articles and music and videos, rotating banners and other custom graphics created by Pro Epic, automated bible verse of the day, and forms that visitors or registered site users may complete to indicate specific interests - and more. The site is configured to allow Church staff to add and edit content on the site at their leisure. Pro Epic provides support and makes site structural changes as requested.

Central Christian Church of Weatherford, Texas, wanted to give their youth an interactive website where the kids could each create their own profiles to put information about themselves and add pictures and videos. The videos may be viewed by general visitors, but the kids profiles and information is visible to registered users only. All registered users can also use the real-time chat feature. The youth site is like a safer MySpace® on steroids. Additional features: minister's blog and ability to add content throughout the site, youth events calendar, automated verse of the day, discussion forum directly linked to comments on articles and videos, the ability to make articles visible to the general public or only to registered website users - and more.

It's all about the kids! This site is a true labor of love for Pro Epic. The Haven online is designed to be used by the youth of Crossroads, who login to the site as registered users. Most of the site is not visible to the public at large. However, the kids can log in to discuss items in the forums, they have a calendar of events, they each have very full featured profiles where they may enter their heros, their favorite scriptures, their interests and dreams, pictures and link to videos. Oh! - and the website's background design changes automatically 4 times a day for: dawn, daylight, dusk and nighttime. The ministers/counselors have a blog and places to enter lessons. There is a chat box on most every page where all registered users who are on at the same time, may share thoughts and say hello - in real-time. The Crossroads staff adds and edits content. Pro Epic provides support and makes structural changes as requested.

Cris Photo features the photographics of Criseyda Koonce. Cris wanted a dark yet stylish background to serve as the backdrop for her photographic images. "Slides" are utilized throughout the site to add interest and to optimize the space available so visitors don't have to scroll down pages to view images. A picture zoom feature (similar to that used for the screenshots on this page) allows visitors to see enlarged pictures, without navigating through additional web pages. "Tabs" are also used to maximize space usage.

Sometimes things happen that are out of our direct or immediate control. What is in our control is the ability to help and seek help - together striving to make a difference in a positive way.
Bill and Cris share over 34 years in the computer industry between them and own Pro Epic , a website development company. Both are strongly service-oriented and it just seemed to naturally work out that most of the websites they build are for service organizations. In building the websites, a common need was mentioned by each of the service organizations... On their websites, they wanted to include a list of resources that provide help to those in need.
Instead of putting the same list on multiple sites, each having to be maintained and updated separately, Bill and Cris decided to create one master list. The website of each service organization would then simply link to the master list. That's how, the website you view now - TOGETHER - was born.
"Our hope and aspiration is to grow TOGETHER so that it will become the link that joins those who provide services to those in need, in one central location." ~ Bill Ervin & Cris Koonce of Pro Epic ~

We've spent a lot of time over the years testing and working with different computer applications and utilities. TexasRef Software is our way of sharing that experience with the world.
You won't find hundreds or thousands of titles on this site, only a select group of titles that we have come to know and trust.
